This part I can agree with.

Nobody would care especially since you already gave them your money (whether through subs or purchases), so you'd basically shoot yourself in the foot. It would be pointless.

As a PC-only gamer with no subs, while I couldn't care less if Xbox crashes and burns, and I don't defend them at all:
- Poor quality of updates is debatable. Some of us think they're bad, some of us think they're not that bad. It's really an opinion, and it varies per season.
- Xbox management being responsible is debatable as well. I fail to see what Xbox management has to do with dictating what type of content Rare releases and when.
Even if they dictate when content is supposed to be released, they're not the ones coming up with it. Guys like Chapman and co. from Rare do, so.... You know - people well-known for "listening" to player feedback.
Right now, nothing is keeping me on Xbox anymore—except SoT…

I simply don't need Windows programs 🤷🏻♂️ I’ve been thinking about switching to Linux for a while anyway; this would just make the decision easier... Sure, they used to get my money, but that won't be the case in the future if something happens to Rare 🤷🏻♂️ Still, they got off lightly 😜 A community can achieve a lot—or just give up entirely... By the way, I do play on PC too, but I’ve owned every generation of Xbox since childhood—except for the Xbox Series... As for Xbox management: SoT was released in an unfinished state because of Game Pass; management interfered and applied pressure right from the start (though pressure isn't necessarily a bad thing). What really worries me, however, are the bugs and the fact that the game isn't living up to its potential (Xbox One); the game's technical limitations are most likely down to management as well... The fact that hardly any studio releases good games while working for Microsoft is proof enough of that 😅
