Will Put The Pressure On Sloops Hiding In The Shallows Of Rocks Beside An Island Trying To Camouflage From Other Ships Just So The Sloop Has A Chance To Jump Them... I’ve gone to the Caribbean twice. Once to St Kitts & Nevis, and once to the Bahamas for a one week scuba live-aboard trip through the Exumas. We hit all manner of small and medium-small islands, reefs, and things in between. I hadn’t played SoT yet at that time but when I did pick the game up it definitely gave me Caribbean vibes. There truly are little pretty islands all over the Exumas with pigs running (and swimming) around and sharks in abundance. I saw no crocodiles, though. The American crocodile can be found in salt water, but they’re found mostly in brackish or fresh inland water.
I’m not saying sea of thieves needs to have perfect wildlife accuracy, but I don’t think crocodiles were a big part of the Caribbean pirate life. Certainly none were approaching sloops. They aren’t particularly big down there.
