  • I can't tell if this is sarcasm, but I dig it.

  • Sure, Equal opportunity to supply up to the brim as the other opponent.
Sure, a bunch of random factors chucked in such as a 3rd Party interfering could be seen as ''equal opportunity'' as it may happen to them as it can happen to you.

I however don't think Hourglass is near as perfect as is, like at all... I think it's super boring with the same stale meta, the same side of broadside each and every time, the same exploitable bugs, the list goes on. But that is my opinion.

    Hmmmmmm. I'm watching you...

  • Personally I would hope it is sarcasm. :D

  • Tom Hardy that's bait gif

  • @li-jratt-li

  • HG as a mode doesn't need to change, except with supplies. Other than that they just got a make combat more fun to get people to play it again.

    hahahahahah! :'D
    That was a good one.
    ...
oh, you are being serious? O_o

  • @li-jratt-li Ideas to make hourglass WAY better.

    1. Remove the need to re supply for every game. At the start of each battle, both players get the same amount of supplies(I don’t know exactly what the numbers would be but it shouldn’t be insane, enough to sustain a fight but not too much that you can waste cannons)

    2. Actual skill based matchmaking. Ik this is technically in the game, but what I’m proposing is-if the next closest player has a wayyy different hg level than you, then the amount of server locations available for you should increase in order to find players closer in levels to you. (I’m no coding expert so I’m not sure of the impacts this could have on the game performance)

3.Actual incentives for champion battles, more gold, more rep.

4.Similar to #2- add an option to limit players with certain levels. So if you’re only level 50, you can choose to limit players from level 100 below. This way you’re not playing absolute sweats every battle. Obviously this would increase matchmaking time, but I feel with this change more people would play hourglass., so it kind of evens out.

  • Oh no, not pve in my pvpve game.

Make Safer hourglass. Instance it. Max level 30.

KEEP PVE AND 3RD PARTIES IN HOURGLASS.

  • @strikeboy01

Remove the need to re supply for every game.

Already a thing, called. Dont do it.

At the start of each battle, both players get the same amount of supplies

Question. What about those Defending.... (everyone forgets they can do this)

    Actual skill based matchmaking.

    Go on.

I’m proposing is-if the next closest player has a wayyy different hg level than you, then the amount of server locations available for you should increase in order to find players closer in levels to you.

Which at this point for most is everyone.
And that would result in someone lagging because they be in a server that good for them.
HG Level, doesnt mean "Skill" Curses dont mean "Skill"

Ever heard of piggyback? Someone low (1) teams up with group of 3 (500) players and all they do is patch holes and tend to the ship, while the other 3 do all the work. Over time, that 1 becomes 500 themself without doing anything but...patching holes. :)
Even if they do do the same with levels, sooner or later, your gonna meet Alt accounts. Those who know how to fight and started over. :p

limit players with certain levels. So if you’re only level 50, you can choose to limit players from level 100 below. This way you’re not playing absolute sweats every battle.

Same as above. Alt accounts. Those 1-50 players are former 500 players, and sweaty. Still gonna encounter them.

Obviously this would increase matchmaking time

WHICH is something majority of players complain about the most. I rather have quick matches found. Faster leveling up, then spend time waiting...and waiting, and waiting. Oh no Im out of time and need to get off. That. :(

    Back to OP topic.
Regardless of Sarcasm or not. ^_^ At least someone is happy.

  • LOL's Sorry guys. i was totally trolling. haha
Been SOOOO many HG forum complaints that i couldnt resist.
I was serious though! HG is fine for what it is. No real complaints. I Like it As is.
Doing great RARE, loving the new Megs, even if theyre a bit OP..
    Better OP than UP.

All eyes on Me Musicmee :)
    I like the attention

  • @burnbacon alright I see your points, but I feel like we do need some sort of change. So many players don’t even touch hg because it’s ridden with cheaters and absolute sweats. And obviously for the sweats, that’s their choice to play as much as they do. But it makes it hard for less skilled players to even attempt to get better, not even necessarily win. I don’t know the proper solutions, but I feel like if we can build on each others ideas we might actually get something going that hopefully devs see. Because you made lots of really good points saying why my ideas won’t work, which is fine. But if we can build upon past ideas eventually we might get some good solutions.
