Purchased and Tailored Rowboats

Ideally in session based adventure, everyone would go out there and find everything for their session. That's more compatible with the risk/reward side of the shared adventure. Those days are long gone. Docks are flooded with convenience/power, much less investment is required.

It won't really cause any harm at this point in the game, and is popular enough of an idea that I wouldn't be surprised if a form of it shows up at some point.

Might as well at this point. Everything else is for sale.

Personally, I would like it if you could even just "repaint" a rowboat you found to match your ship. Even if purchasing was not implemented. However, I am not suggesting that a rowboat be cheap, like 5000g, I was thinking like 50,000g or something where it would still be a normal advantage to pick one up. Also, I think there should be other attachments to be added to the rowboats besides the harpoon and cannon.

When you've got loads of gold and nowhere to put it, why not convenience? There are islands out there where you can just go to get one very reliably. People can and should still want to pick one up for the minor commendations, but since a big part of the game is to be able to customize your ship the way you want it looks off to have a black ship, or whatever and the rowboat is a Crayola green, red, yellow, blue, purple.

Also, theoretically, this could be used to take a rowboat and purchase a sale as an attachment. Didn't think to mention that one before, but I think being able to put a sale on them would make for an interesting mechanic. Either to help when your ship sinks get back to an island to bury your treasure, or for a crew to use as a mini ship. Stuff like that should cost money.

Row boats are easy enough to find, a cannon row boat can be a big tactical boost if in the right hands. So can a harpoon rowboat.

We have sunk heaps of boats by using two cannons on sloops, a row boat's cannon and the sloop cannon while both facing the enemy.

Shilds to protect rowers lol, what's next. Whole idea behind using a row boat is risk and if it works, it pays off big.
