I've been holding off on bringing this up, but over the last few days, sea of thieves has taken 20+ minutes just to get through basic loading. And even when I get in, more often then not, my entire character isn't loaded, many npcs just arent there. and if I sail to another island in this state, it will appear unloaded even after getting as far as to step on it, in which case Ill fall through the island. I am playing on steam, and it feels like its not just my own connection, is anyone else having similar issues?
Consistent lag, and excessive loading
@coffeecatcake welcome to the not so wonderful side of Sea of Thieves and I'm guessing this post will be closed down as well. It's been laggy with issues from day 1.
We've had several reinstalls and less Giga bites and the issues always return.My pirate has a hit box around it the size of a sloop because I can't walk around the sloop without feeling I have to force my pirate up the stairs around the barrels.
For the first few years I noticed fellow team mates always seemed to kill the Skellies real fast as I needed to swipe them with a sword 13-16 times before they died.
I'm don't have a clue about programming a game so don't understand why these sort of things can't be fixed.
There are days more often than not now I wish they would just start Sea of Thieves 2 and build a foundation for the game that was as solid as granite.@jackieboombox
I have been playing for quite a long time now, I'm nowhere near new. Yet I have never in my time playing see it get this bad@burnbacon
because I assumed it would fix itself, It's not normally so bad to this giant of an extent in my experience. And no, Im not new
