yeah, wasn't much attached to it specifically even though I always found point and clicks interesting from a design and atmosphere perspective.
The vibe of the title screen reminds me of being young, adventuring with imagination before the weight of experience made reality unavoidable.
This game, the monkey island content, the potc content, these are all experiences for the younger participants that are comparable to many of our experiences with earlier adventure content.
I find quite a bit of optimism in that.
@wolfmanbush this is how I feel about it to be honest. Pre Internet I got stuck on a lot of point and clicks, broken sword was more my pace and sense of humour but I do remember monkey Island fondly.

Incredible to see how much more immersive adventure experiences are now. Incredible to see how SoT has added so much to support an immersive experience here. Captaincy really adding QoL to participation. I feel the individuality and immersion within Captaincy made this first piece of Monkey Island content even more special and enjoyable.
I've been thinking about "the glory days" of SoT lately and I feel that the last few months of an improved risk/reward environment combined with everything that has been added and the improvements made have just made the experience far more enjoyable from an adventure point of view, an immersive shared experience viewpoint.
