iNTRODUCE TIME LIMIT TO PVP MODE

  • The fights now can last up to infinity, so please introduce time limits of 15-20 minutes per fight
    PS. In order to make it viable - introduce points like it was in Arena so that hits and kills would count

    But by all costs there must be LIMITS

  • Yes, I totally agree! Because there have been many times that we fought for over an hour until we ran out of resources. It makes you more tired than happy.

    • Boxing has a time limit.
    • Tennis has points.
    • Soccer has halves.
      Please add a time limit and points. To go in for 15 minutes, have fun, and then keep playing. You could also do a tapering circle like in battle royales.

  • So chasing players without a limit is fine but heaven forbid pvp can last hours.

  • @burnbacon It's one thing to have an open world, and another thing to have a separate mode for battles.

  • I agree there is a problem, but a time limit will just encourage those who run to keep running until the timer runs out.

    The real root cause is that healing, aka repairs, are grossly overpowered, but how could that ever be changed without screwing up the rest of the game.

  • Long fights are just more flavor to the game. Some fights take 4 minutes. Others longer.

    But....

    Since HG is attempting to PROMOTE PvP, I'm actually in favor of something like......

    You must fight since you opted-in, duh.
    There must be a winner and a loser.
    Winners earn the most rep.
    Losers still get some rep (I wish a bit more than they get now).
    If the fight takes too long, call it a draw and no one gets any rep at all.

  • I agree... even if the circle were to slowly shrink. It'll speed things up. And if it gets too small and still no winner, just call it a draw and both payers share win rep.
