Players should be able to fly out of cannons carrying an object.

keg plays aside that just makes it too easy to sell while in combat.
As it stands right now you either need a rowboat or need to get close enough to an outpost that it's obvious to the other crew what you're doing.
Doing a drive-by is still very relevant for cashing in something like a chest of legends in a fight, but it's not something you can afford to do constantly, which would be the case with cannoning with loot.@calico-jack3172 said in Cannons:

Yes! sea of thieves! but not sea of instantly losing your athena to the horizon in under a second. I never said not to steal, i only was making joke of the fact that theres basically little you could do to deal with that situation.
Some one grabbing your athena and trying to row off is 1 thing, you can chase them down and deal with it, but some one launching miles away with your loot would give you little to no time to react or try to save it.
