Might be a silly idea, but I was thinking it’d be cool if we could sell cursed cannon balls. There’s times I have beyond too many and it would be cool if I could sell the ones I did not want. Like the Helm ball which IMO is the least valuable. Just a thought.

@wolfmanbush The only reason against it that I could see would be lore-wise. If you recall, none of the other outpost residents got onboard with Wanda making them. So in that vein, why would any of them want to purchase them? One would think that they'd want nothing to do with them. The only way I could see this being viable on those grounds would be if it was a crate that was only available to be sold to the Reapers.
Back before and during Cursed Sail update Wanda aka the Warsmith once tried selling them to the outpost but was declined due to it being cursed and people not wanted anything to do about it so it wouldn’t make sense for the outpost or specifically the Merchant Alliance to accept them now.
As @Aerotsune has said only the Reaper’s Bone would probably want them for their cause and I bet they pay a lot for pirates to sell the cursed cannonballs to them@thekratex7201 said in Selling cursed cannon balls:

a couple of lore knowledgeable pirates in the thread say it wouldn't align with story and suggested reapers so it would fit
which I think works alright.
I'd like to see sea posts added on to reapers for an option but I dunno if that is lore friendly.
Reapers is better than nothing, it'll cut down on people selling them but it's an option and a choice.

Lore side we just say "The OOS got interested in cursed Cannonballs after some recent events. After you sell it to them they don't keep it but dismantle them and inspect how it was cursed / they extract the curses from them using some mumbo jumbo stuff and then sell the normalized Cannonballs that are left behind after the ritual to the Merchants"
And I came up with that in about a minute. I'm sure Rare can manage lore stuff easily, so I still recommend OOS because I want them to get some love (this comes from a Reaper main btw)
