At this point let is spend dubloons/gold/money whatever to max out sea dog…in the past you could do this…since its not being closed lets us get a chance to get those legendary cosmetic to complete our sets…i think this would make everyone happy

I made it, so I'll get the ship cosmetics, but I'm bummed about the commendations and other cosmetic losses I'll incur.
A long time ago, Rare removed content unnecessarily and this is history repeating itself. I would have hoped that they learned from the past.
Rare stated that there will be alternatives available, but unless it's virtually identical, it still won't complete my PL set. If anything, I think it'll likely be the Golden PL variation, which I consider separate. I'm still baffled that they put pieces of a core set (such as the PL set) into Arena. In other words, my worst fears have come to fruition, and it's devastating.

Rare knows how to make a game about pirates, but when it comes to cosmetics, their release strategy is just 💩.

Levels wont help you. You need 240 wins as a pirate legend to unlock the Legendary Cutlass
