It dominates the horizon in much of the map, has multiple vendors, and is the headquarters of the Sea Dog faction. If it had a map label, new players might be encouraged to learn more about Arena, or even discover the parkour course. It's a logical meeting spot, and it deserves to be highlighted!
I'm fine with K9 and N13 being unmarked on the map as they're an easter egg and part of the tall tales, respectively. But The Glorious Sea Dog seems far too prominent to be unlabeled.

I use it as a landmark to easily find the reapers hideout without looking at the map : )

And this post is another reminder of just how under-utilised the Tavern is. Which is surreal considering how beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing it is.
It’s so iconic that it’s the first thing we see when returning from the Tunnels of the Damned.
Fingers crossed it becomes a hub for trade, or adventure at some point.
Perhaps a horde mission, fending off invaders. Who knows…

Though the name of the tavern is technically "The Glorious Sea Dog", which is fairly unique.
What else would you have them call it?
I mean on the one hand Reapers hideout want on the map or a thing for that matter but I think it’s not on there cuz aside from the shops and parcore corse there’s no reason to go there tho I wish there was maybe make it an event where a crew takes it over and it become a fortified turn in for them alone with AIs on the cannons but they take a price cut to the loot too and it’s remains theirs for let’s say an hour or two then it’s reset and becomes a pvp event to take it;

For K9, sure, but the massive spire in the middle of the map isn't what I'd consider a hidden gem.
@mferr11 It is in a way. I remember the feeling I had when I realised this island wasn't on the map, then went over it investigate. It almost felt like I was discovering some hidden pirate cove. There's a lot of cool places that you just sail past because it's not part of your voyage, the fact it's not on the map gives you a reason to go check it out.

Exactly! It's clearly a fixture of the map, and it's also the only direct link to the Sea Dog faction in Adventure Mode. New players will see the Sea Dogs in their reputation screen, so it makes sense to have some connection to them in Adventure Mode. I mean it's the only place to buy Sea Dog promotions without queuing up for Arena, and I feel like many players don't realize that.
