Sea of Thieves x One Piece ? (An Idea)

I have no idea what one piece is, but I searched it up and an anime popped up so we could about talking about different things.

Pirates of the Caribbean is all about pirates and I think the devs even said it's heavily influenced Sea of Thieves.

One piece on the other hand is an anime... It wouldn't be my first choice for a collaboration with a pirate game.

@iamarcnarx No thank you. I'm not a fan of anime, and crossovers in general. I feel like SoT x PotC is the exception, but anything more is overdoing it.

References are fine- clothes and item descriptions are fine, but i dont want more in-your-face "I AM HALO/GEARS OF WAR/BLEEDING EDGE SHIP SET" kind of things

The theming present in One Piece doesn't fit that of the Sea of Thieves. These two should be the last to cross over, and preferably they wouldn't cross over at all. Secret of Monkey Island would be a better option for the next crossover event.

I've been wondering after the collaboration with Pirates of The Caribbean, but what if Sea of Thieves were able to have some collaboration with One Piece?

The collaboration doesn't have to be a story-driven update or something, maybe One Piece Ship skins of Thousand Sunny and Luffy's Crew clothing and weapons with some events that makes player able to buy some unique skins, just like several events before

For example; Ship Skins for One Piece "Marines" can be obtained by doing Merchants Events, Thousand Sunny ship skin can be obtained by doing Reaper Events, Whitebeard's Ship skin "MobyDick" (That's the name, not an insult) for Pirate Legends / Athena Events since Whitebeard basically are One Piece Legends, and some more, just like rewards you can obtain during "Festival of Giving" style events

While doing those events, we can also get some clothing skins as well from season rewards. for example; we can get Monkey D Luffy clothing set with his Straw Hats, or Zoro's Three-Swords skins, or maybe Captain Kidd "Metal Arm" Hook and many more

Or maybe the ship skins can be purchased on Pirate emporium, as long it's not like a Story-Driven Update that forced The Developers to think hard about the story

I think it's gonna be pretty neat to have those collaboration so people that came with Anime Background can also enjoy roleplaying become the strawhats crew and stuff

If this idea was taken, maybe also add Bink's Sake song on the shanty as well, that's the icon of One Piece music

most people don't know one piece like they know pirates of the Caribbean but i would think they wouldn't add it for that reason but we shall see what comes after a pirate's life
