This is a great game, very fun, but the dominant feature of every game is the weather. The waves are at North Sea Hurricane level about 90% of the time. Between the waves and the storms and the fog and the rain..it's just impossible to get 15 minutes of play time where I'm not wresting with the worst parts of the game.
There might be some people who play this game to sail in storms, I don't know, but it's certainly not the core demo. Twenty five foot waves aren't normal. Eight lightning strikes in a 1 hour play period should never happen.
You have a very fun game on your hands but you've almost ruined it by constantly upping the weather and the waves. It's not what people want. Streamers aren't streaming their "exciting storm sailing exploits." It's honestly a misery the players endure to get to the good parts. But it really is a misery and whoever is advocating for more weather on your team should be fired.
