Steam, joining an xbox player?

    I have the steam game and regular game installed. When I launch the steam game and use the xbox companion app... to join my brother on xbox, it tries to open the windows store install. is there a way to change that or am i missing something? I get the invite in game when he invites me.

    @captain-coel I have the same problem, just with me on Steam and my friends on
    the Ms versoin

    You could try instead of using the Xbox App, but use the overlay from the Xbox Game Bar. Similar to Steam by using Shift+tab, their combination is Windows Key + G.
