So the sword lung is great and all but just imagine having a grappling hook or ropes hanging on the mask that allow you to swing over to enemy ships. Or even like adding a "plank" to allows you to walk closer to enemy ships.

@ajm123 i was thinking instead of a gun that shoots it, its like a rope with a hook and you can throw it like using a fishing rod

How about instead of focusing so much on boarding, you work on good sail and cannon discipline and fight it out ship to ship? I find it's far more effective at killing the other crew, maintaining your own ship's safety and effectiveness, sinking the other ship, and then grabbing their loot as it floats to the surface.
@brokenturtle127 very boring, ive found myself just getting camped on a ladder for majority of the time. so now i have to attempt to board using the harpoons or using some creative ways of boarding. I just want to be able to swing through the air like a pirate onto ships that get close and feel like a real pirate.
@galactic-geek I actually agree that boarding is overrated especially on a galleon when you can potentially be firing 4 cannons at a time.
@realfinnz Someone a while back made a concept video of using sail cloth as a makeshift parachute after firing from a cannon - it was amazing (I highly recommend you do a search for it)! That might be a good alternative for boarding tactics.

@galactic-geek I prefer the ship to ship battles myself even more I like rowboat vs ships lol but a new way to board would change battles completely. What happens when instead of spamming swords at top of ladders people have a grappling hook that counts as a weapon. Gives people a "job" as the boarder
