Lets say i tuck onto somebodys boat about to do the shores of gold TT.
They have the shroud breaker and sail towards tributes peak and i am hidden very well on their ship
Now would i despawn and warp away kinda like what happens when you try and sail through without the shroudbreaker, or will the game let me stay on their ship at they break through the fog?
No, you cannot get to the Shores without the Shroudbreaker equipped.
I think the stowaway would be fine.

@daringclarky Unless they changed it, the shroud-breaker doesn't actually do anything. The red sea is coded to sink your ship. There is a small path in the red sea that doesn't. To get to the shore of gold you simply sail in that path.
It's not a small path - it's the entire NE corner of the Shroud. I sailed due north into it from the south and due west out of it from inside, and nothing happened to me. Of course, I can't say the same for the stowaway that I had on board, because well, I threw him overboard. 😅

What are you talking about? The shores of gold didn’t exist at launch. And the path there is not a small one. If you equip the shroudbreaker you can sail around the entire missing area on northeast side of the map. Without it you will sink before you reach the shores of gold. I looked over your achievements and it shows you haven’t completed the tall tales.
