Will they give out anything there loyal pirates could use or want? You've only given stuff for newer pirates to enjoy but nothing for pirates who own everything we would like to be acknowledged just a little bit we are playing all the time and feel left out! Enough O that it's the holidays so Merry Christmas to all the pirates out there!

Apart from quite literally the double doubloon day, and Hunter's Call for some PLs, anyone who is indeed a PL isn't benefiting from this event so far.
Although, too early to tell if there's anything for PLs out there yet. On top of that, giving away ship cosmetics that already exist/people already have. Why not slowly roll out a Christmas set?

Why did I invest into a ship cosmetics that are being given away for free? It's a little careless for the individuals that already had this set.
@musicmee Do you know if the broken doubloon bonuses’ll be retroactively applied? Grinded gifts for a few hours as soon as I saw it was double doubloons and got nothing extra for it.

I'm expecting it will be Mercenary Hull tomorrow and the figurehead on the last day.
I've already got the set, but it's a nice one for those who don't. I do wish they'd given away an alternate version (colour swap) rather than the original, but I'm not overly salty about it.

I was hoping maybe the pattern was indicating an alternating flow of the mercenary bits and either Obsidian or another set. Not upset, just guess work for the fun of it. :DAlthough, yeah, I'm not salty about it, but I would have preferred something new for someone that unlocked the mercenary set originally. ;)

Yes, I had 2 friends that hadn't done the Maiden Voyage yet and I told them about it the other day which just happened to be Double Doubloon Day. They both went on the game and did it, got the doubloons there in the Maiden Voyage and they got 400 each! So I can confirm that if you do the Maiden Voyage during a Double Doubloon Day, you will get double there too (and I'm guessing this also works with the gold there, if you get it during a Double Gold Day). 😄👍

I just hit 1500 dubloons with maiden and commendations and gifts and now we are going to get more gifts 🙆♂️
They developed this efficiënt system on a brigatine by accident..
We dropped 1 pirate at gold fort in ancient region with supplies and ammo.. We sail to crowsnest fort and start voyage for ancient islands and got both forts covered. For a new voyage one on the brig server hops and rejoins with new voyage..
Just keep digging gifts..
