Suggestion: Country Flags On Ships

    Arr pirates,

    What if we could have a country flag on our ship. Wouldn’t that be awesome? Then we can recreate our own country’s Navy at that time.

    For example, the awesome ship called ‘Zeven Provinciën’ (Seven Provinces).

    I hope this will be added into the game! :)

    Dit is vaker gevraagd. Er zijn 2 redenen waarom Rare dit niet doet.

    1. Het is te politiek geladen met "real world" problemen. En dat willen ze niet in een fantasiewereld.
    2. Er is geen Nederland of Botswana of Korea in de wereld van SoT. Die bestaan niet. Het is een fantasiewereld.

    Sorry, rare already brought too much of the real world into the game last year with the rainbow flag. This game should stay a pirate fantasy and not bring in any real world politics, including countries.

    Toen Rare met de Regenboog vlag kwam was er een hele gedoe en gezeik omdat veel mensen het als gay pride zag.

    Ik denk dat Rare dat soort politieke gedoe niet weer wilt? bvb -Straks heb je Israelis en Palestijnen die elkaar gaan aanvallen en uitschelden in SoT en de video gaan streamen of op social media zetten.

    Als als idee vind heb ik geen probleem. Ik zeg alleen waarom ik denk dat Rare het niet gaat doen.

    There are no navy forces within the Sea of Thieves. The rulers over those navies don't believe in or know the location of the Sea of Thieves, and they can't get through the Devil's Shroud nor the pirates waiting for them on the other side of it. Also, Rare doesn't want to bring in politics and the like, which those flags would certainly do.

    Use the tools the game gives you. I'll occasionally outfit my ship in a world area livery, like The Wilds and patrol the area acting like a pirate coast guard.
