Giving people the Creator-Sails after just 5 Minutes of stream is a real bad idea.
I've seen so many now that just stream black screen for 5-10 minutes and never again but owning the creator sails.
Why? I would have made sense to analyse the past streams (can be done by twitch-api easily) and see if someone was realy streaming SoT in the past to earn the sails.
This sails will be burned and not special anymore in just some days.
Creator-Crew + Reward should be reworked
I'm kind of already burned when I check the forums for new interesting suggestions and discussions, and all I can see in recent posts are just a bunch of people uploading videos on the Creator Crew category... can they just take this out from the main forum activity? or enable us to don't show the threats of that category? Like they did with the Insider forum... , Idk I'm just not interested on seeing all the post of this category

Spread the curse in the seas!!I hear the new sails are a PvP magnet, so it might just be that in the end they don't get as much fun out of their ill-gotten sails as they thought they would.
I still think the bar should be set low to encourage people to get on board. Lets face it, every person who tries the creator crew isn't going to turn into the next big streamer. Most won't. The 5 mins of blackscreen people will probably be amongst the ones who don't make it. If even one person who joins the creator crew manages to develop a career as a streamer off the back of it though, it'll have been a successful project.
I disagree with the OP - my connection isn't that great, so streaming is almost impossible for me, and it takes me forever to upload videos, so I appreciate how brief the requirement was. Because of my network's shortcomings, I prefer to share screenshots, along with a story. Does that make me any less of a creator? No, it doesn't. A video may be worth a 1,000 pictures, but a picture is still worth a 1,000 words, and with words your imagination is the limit.
As for the sails, I sailed with it on my sloop with a friend who was new to SoT for over 6 hours and was never attacked, so I find it hard to believe that it's an attack-magnet. BTW, default sloop with Creator sails, Insider figurehead, Gold Anniversary cannons, and white or Glorious Sea Dog flag looks great!
I just can't understand why anyone who isn't really a content creator would want these cosmetics. I'm not a streamer nor do I upload very many videos. I could not sail around with those cosmetics, even if they were all just gifted to me for no reason. It would be a false representation. Maybe that's just me though.

Spread the curse in the seas!!I use the 'unread' feature on the forums to see new posts. What you can do then, is go to any category you don't like and at the top of the thread list switch the status from 'Watching' to 'Not Watching'. This will prevent any post in that category from showing up under unread. This way you can filter out a ton of categories that you don't care about.
Read the posts under unread that interest you, then mark them all as read.
