Ancient Skeletons & Coins

    Hey, i would like to know some things about the update and the Ancient Skeletons & Coins.

    To the people how played the game a lot since the update, how often it happens you find an Ancient Skeleton ? Are they only appearing randomly on every island in SoT ?

    If im lucky enough to encounter an Ancient Skeleton, how much Coins will it drop? Am i getting the Coins instantly, or drops the Skeleton a treasure chest which i have to get back to an outpost?

    And how hard is it to defeat an Ancient Skeleton, is it possible to defeat it alone?

    I think they're related to the Shrouded Ghosts!😂😂😂 I have yet to see one.......

    Completely random and extremely rare apparently... They won't tell us how much they pay out.... I think I'm going to do fan art of an Ancient Skeleton riding the Shrouded Ghost while holding a Box of Wondrous Secrets.

    I got one!

    The ancient skeleton I found dropped 120 ancient coins.
    I got the coins immediately after killing the skeleton, no outpost needed.
    The skeleton took about 4 sword slashes, easy to kill alone.
    After the skeleton spawns starts a funny music and the skeleton starts running away, it's not fast so you can easily kill it.

    They appear randomly on islands. You will hear a loud jingle jingle of coins being shaken as an Ancient Skeleton climbs out of the ground near you. They seem to spawn within 5-20 meter radius around a player and can be tricky to spot on certain terrain like Thieves Haven. Once they spawn, they immediately try to run away from you, but it only takes 5-6 swings of a sword to take them down.
