It's been this way since day 1 so over a year now and they haven't fixed this issue so I doubt they will ever at this point. If you search around you'll find a few hundred posts about this same issue and they all say the same things; that you have to buy a external SSD, buy a PC, and/or file a trouble ticket.

  • They did investigate in this and a fix was provided with the Anniversary Update.
As a PC player, I was having that bug daily but didn't ecnounter it ONCE since the update.

  • Invest in a SSD. I just got one for my Xbox and the load times are drastically faster.

  • Or invest in a high end PC.

  • I find these posts odd as this is nothing I have ever encountered. I have a Day 1 Xbox One and the longest load times I see are 10 seconds of black screen, and this is typically when my ship has to respawn after being sunk. But I do use an external 7200RPM drive which does load faster than the 5200RPM drives like installed in the One (or most externals on the market today, you really have to look for a 7200 or make one with your own enclosure) and have very good internet speed (3ooMbps download speed). Most times I load in after reaching the door in 3-4 seconds max, longer times are usually associated with a ship respawn which I understand why that is happening.

My suggestion is either get better internet speeds or invest in a 7200RPM drive for better load times - this is a cheaper alternative than a SSD with more storage per buck. Or if you have the money to burn, then look into a SSD.

So basically buy an external hard drive. I bet if EVERYONE had the same load times like us poor peasants who can only afford the basic Xbox One then Rare would fix this.

Or upgrade your internet. I seriously doubt that it is only the internal hard drive causing the problem for everyone who says they have this "issue". If so I think there would be a LOT more posts regarding this "issue". For those that do have it, I believe there are other factors as well they either aren't mentioning or do not know may be causing their problems.

And who hasn't added an additional hard drive by now anyway? I fail to see how anyone could survive with only a 500GB or 1TB hard drive with the size of games nowadays. 7200RPM drives are not that much faster than 5200 ones, definitely not 6x faster as I have NEVER had any load times as long as a lot of you are claiming...not even close. There has to be something else causing this claimed "issue" as the facts don't add up.

I love how this is a "claimed" issue, as if the many, many, many posts about this are not indeed happening. Or how it could be our internet connect, mine personally is the fastest the company offers which is 100 mbs down and 20 mbs up.

RARE FIX THIS PROBLEM FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY!!! IT'S NEITHER FAIR NOR BALANCED FOR US XBOX USERS!!
