i am thinking abt doing some cargo runs to get my merchant alliance rep up? how much is a piece of cargo worth? devil’s cargo?
cargo crates value
@SergeantSnyder7
I'm pretty sure its 1,400 gold per perfect devils cargo crate and 700 per normal perfect crate. But if the crates take damage the value of it does decrease so be careful when you're transporting them especially in the Devil's Roar.@sergeantsnyder7 Pristine cargo sells for 700 gold a piece. Devils roar cargo is doubled at 1400. High level cargo runs give you eight pieces to deliver. Not bad for the time and effort, just as long as everything goes smoothly.
@britishmango05
that’s actually extremely good value, ive had missions that hav me get 8 pieces of cargo so that’s a lot of goldI was grinding cargo for pirate legend commendation, fastest way to do it :
- create solo brig
- start voyage, first cargo will be on your outpost
- load cargo to your ship, delivery point will be closest seapost/island to your oustpost
- sail to your destination, sell cargo, leave the game and start over again from point 1.
This way one voyage takes 5minutes +- even better if you get 2 friends to help you carry cargo.
Its fastest way to get some money and points to commendations.After cargo update, each piece gives you 700gold, pirate legend voyages give you 8 pieces of cargo per voyage.
Cargo is not fragile as before, you can swim with clothes for a while, bottles break after like 20 jumps, flowers dont need water for like 10 minutes, so dont worry about cargo.If you are at brigantine, which is best ship for cargo runs because of speed, store your bottles at the bottom of stairs in middle of ship.
This way they dont crack after being hit by cannon balls.Store clothes on book shelf in front of voyage table, so they dont get soaked if your ships starts taking in water.
And for flowers, you can throw 2-3 buckets to your ship and place flowers into water, this way you keep them fresh.

For sure I love doing normal cargo missions because their easy and give you 5,600 gold per quest if your level 50. I also have a different method of doing cargo missions that I think saves time, instead of starting a new mission after I finish the first one and having to go to another island and grab the crates then sell them. I just leave the server after I finish one then
join another server and start another quest rinse and repeat, it requires half of the time because you don't have to pick them up only deliver them. (If you didn't know the first merchant quest you do always have you pick up the crates at the outpost your at).
