Has any one had this issue? You've been fighting a fleet for the past half hour, your tired but still fightung the last wave spawns and you govr it your all their so low in the water a single bucket could sink them. But. The date changes to the 11th and the feicer sinks into the ocean no reward for wasting your time.
If possible could the skelly ships not de-dpawn whilst engaged as it is annoying as hell and has been a problem for my crew and I.
@emmet-emerelder yup i've had this but thats your lot. you've missed the time slot and thats that. due to balancing performance they can't do much else about it. its a sad time but hey you survived
@emmet-emerelder I just had this happen last night. Was in a big battle with the last ship. We had no cannon balls left no planks so we rammed and bucketed all our water into the last skelly ship. as it was sinking it despawned because of the date. No accommodation or loot for us. Was a salty night after an intense battle. 3 man Brig.
Sucks, yesterday I was finally able to do the mission near smugglers bay. It was day 7 by the time our galleon got to the mission. We were sunk about 3 times. Had a 10 year old that wanted to shoot himself out of a cannon straight up in the air because he thought it was "fun" we finally got to the last wave. Two ships, two skeleton captains. We were sunk again and spawned next to a skull fort that was really close to the fighting grounds. We stocked up on 4 gun powder barrels and headed back but the last wave had despawned. And we still had a day left. Very frustrating. We weren't out of the zone for more than 3 minutes. Rare should not have them despawn while you are still fighting them, especially while you are in the day limit. I agree too if you're fighting them and the day changes they shouldn't despawn
