Hi mates!
I want to play with my son online. He is 13, the game is USK 12, so this should not be a problem. However, to play online you need XBOX Insider App, which is USK 18. He can not join.
How can I play with my son online? We paid 140 Euro just to do that.

There is no need to use the Xbox Insider App to play Sea of Thieves, the only requirement, if you are playing on Xbox, is that you have an active Xbox Live subscription, but this does not apply on the PC.
So you should be able to download and play straight away!
@papatroll70 Oooooh that is a strange one, so you're using the windows Xbox App and can't find each other to add as friends?

Yeah you don't require the insider app and the regular xbox app on PC just sucks. An a possible solution you can try is download S.O.T on both PC from the windows store by going to your account then recently purchased or download list then Log in to a session on a closed brig or gally and then use LFG or your freinds list to find and xbox player to join you and give them the gamertag of your son so they can invite him into your game. Once he loads in have your 2 characters look at eachother and do the make freinds emote simultaneously. This should bring the freind prompt up on the xboxapp if not immediately add the both of you to eachothers friends list. From there you should be able to invite your son from your freinds list in the xbox app to your game when ever you want. Hope this helps.
