I was going to install a new motherboard last night so I unplugged all my hard drives -- but I am too lazy to install the motherboard so I plugged in my drives just for you buddy. hope the picture helps, took it on my first day playing I think :P

Yeah, that one is perfect! Thanks MUCH! I can isolate that kraken, and make it into a hi res brush for zbrush to extrude out as a relief.

Will do! I would have started working on the kit sooner, but our deck was collapsing downhill, and I have a lot of adulting to do as a result, tearing it all apart, salvaging what I can, and then rebuilding what I can.

@gareeet Oh is that the Kraken? Kinda seems like Medusa to me. XD Or some other creature. Idk, it could be a Kraken but it seems like a human-ish skull.

I'd think it was a medusa if we had any Medusa in the game, or any hope of ever even seeing her in game. Personally, I think she would fit in great!

@stonedscallywag Yeah, I just saw a pic of it in a developer log as ship sail graphics. There is a kraken ship's wheel as well, and I'm thinking that when they finally update the kraken to have a body, they'll add the kraken items as achievement upgrades for finally defeating one.

Related, does anyone have that art book? Now I'm looking for the side view concept art of the entire kraken. Plans are to import that into zbrush, and do a relief sculpt of him for the gurdy top cover.

A photo taken from a newer smartphone should have high enough resolution to use in zbrush.

EDIT: Someone was kind enough to take a good pic of it for me.

Just a WIP photo.. I've got the kraken printed for the cover of the gurdy, with a coin at each side. these are just the basic prints, with a quick antique brass spray. I'll be coloring and weathering them, but this at least lets you know what direction I'm heading.

I'm going with a tentacle gurdy handle, and I can't decide if I like the more gamer accurate distorted suckers, or the symmetrical ones.

I had a devil of a time matching the size of the crank and the handle, but I finally have them matched and printed. Theres it a kraken icon on the top of the handle covering the hardware bolt and nut. Once Isand a bit and fill some small issues, I'll paint these up
