Rapid fire cannons?

  • When were the rapid fire cannons added to the game I can't remember them in the patch notes, me and my crew got sank twice in the space of half an hour by people who's cannons just kept firing over and over no reloading and before people ask nope it wasn't people going along in a row from left to right cannon firing; you know so it seems like constant fire it was the same cannons I watched them from the ship same cannon as soon as one cannon ball was shot another followed straight away

Is it? Or is the OP exaggerating?

  • @truthfullist56 I am unfamiliar with "OP". As far as hacks I have only run into 1 person who was hacking in game. He had invincibility. After he bragged about having invincibility my entire crew spent a few minutes trying to kill him while he stood still at an outpost. I have hear several stories from those in game who have mentioned running into someone who could rapid fire cannon balls but I haven't seen it myself yet.

Sorry, OP is "original poster"(or over-powered depending on the context).
Sometimes I'm able to unload cannonballs pretty fast. I just think this is a case of exaggeration. Maybe it was a hack, but I'd say it's more likely that he/she is just used to slower cannon fire.
I've heard of other hacks like invincible ships and such, but never anything regarding cannons.

  • the Point is that pc Gamers are much faster then xbox Gamers ;) nothing else due pc Gamers are just real Gamers (mostly)...

  • @truthfullist56

If I hadnt seen the invincibility guy personally I would likely assume as you are, but since then anytime I see multiple sources saying the same thing I give them the benefit of the doubt.

This may also be the case. I noticed the other day that the pc player in our crew was able to do certain things faster than me. Specifically digging, but I'm sure there are a few other things (like loading cannonballs).

  • @truthfullist56 it is about mechanical Keyboards and mouses for up to $500, it is about professional gaming vs XBOX ...

I don't think he has any special hardware, but I'll ask next time we play. Either way, I don't understand why that's possible. I always though things like that were timed in the animation itself, not the input. I guess this is why I'm on xbox lol

  • @truthfullist56 Development is vry .. hard.... to solve all These Things .... mechanical Keyboards are common and vry powerful! they cant size/balance that to each other platform / Hardware!

    Example:
i can hit a key and it goes over in 0,1 Second, a XBOX Controller Needs up to 0,10 Seconds! I am may wrong with the times but i know the difference due we tryd to develop some games more times (early Access scam).

Well, now there is another Point. Keyboards (PC) have Special Keys (Macro Keys). Also the Mouse have them. You can use this Keys with Macros (to allow to automaticly hit keys you want within time). This allows you to Control much Buttons same time without doing anything (like reloading and fire). You hit a button and the Cannon fires 10 Times and you just watch it! There are plenty ways to use the power of a PC without "cheating". It is a Feature!
