Separate servers, tired of aim bots, unsinkable ships, and and unkillable people. If PC players wanna hack let them do it on their own server. This game had so much potential now its just garbage.
Do away with cross compatibility
@infidelxkronic with how little content there are and how quickly people are leaving this game needs crossplay to keep the player base decent.

Is there really that many PC hacks out for this game already ?
@infidelxkronic I feel like a better solution would just be aggressive anti cheat systems. This isn't about PC vs console, its about cheating babies vs everyone else.
There are loads of online pc games that manage to deal with this problem.
@loneantman this my xbox gamertag, I have clips recorded and yes. Just Google sea of thieves cheats not even hacks to see how c****y it's already is. If u need an aim bot, invincibility, loot finder, rapid fire cannons, fast reload, aim lock, etc. (All available currently) then u should stick to single player games because you miss the point of this game.

Throughout my history of gaming, a lot people to like accuse others of hacking; I just say they are bad. It hurts me and makes a dumb stereotype that PC players are hackers and really p****s me off. I hate hackers as much as you do.
Like @MrBrocksEgo said, most of the console players have turn this thing into a PC vs. Console debate. Just because you can get headshotted with a pistol, or have 3 people repairing a ship at the same time, doesn't mean they are hacking.
I wouldn't mind if they added more aggressive anti-cheat, if anything I would be happier, because it has nothing to do with me. @RattlyBat795 Yes, they most likely are.
Please don't go out your way to call all PC players cheaters, because I want nothing to do with them. You can even play with me, @INFIDELxKronic , and see how nice of a person I am :)

The Frosty Donut@thefrostydonut we boarded their ship after it hit land and was being bombarded by us killed both of them (sloop) and after detonating a barrel for fun we were shocked to find it didn't sink but when received 4 shells we took a significant amount of water. Amazing! We were in a galleon also. I don't say all PC players are cheaters but separate servers would almost completely solve that issue for console.
@infidelxkronic I know this is just me but if they did that at least two people would stop playing. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only couple that bought this game to play co op together. I'm also pretty sure I'm not the only person who would just stop playing instead of buying a second xbox.

I don't care though. Way what you want, but I disagree with the "separate server" issue. I like to play with console players. Many of them are adults and are very laid back, compared to PC players they aren't as laid back and probably are there to kill and get s**t done.
I am a PC player, and although I kick a*s on the battlefield I would like to enjoy some time off and share stories with complete strangers.
Not to be an a*****e, but making this change would be selfish, and doing so will hurt and tear apart this community. Rare makes this game to solely connect people. Having different servers will unbalance the player base and leave out the PC players.I have thought of a suggestion, found at my HUGE post in the "Feedback + Suggestions" category, that has a solution. Although I am against it still, I put it out there just so people can think in others ways to keep the platforms "separate". I would really like you to read it :)

The Frosty Donut@thefrostydonut Well I haven't seen a hack yet for xbox, and I didn't blanket all PC users as cheaters. What fun is this game if every day when I pvp I run into a hacker? I have a gaming computer btw, and I don't know a good cross compatibility game that is pvp. (Dont say ark because you can change settings) At least give option to choose not to cross platform. Saying it will kill game is lame excuse if it can't stand on it's own and cross compatibility is the only this keeping it alive then it should die off like Conan exiles
@infidelxkronic what a ridiculous comment. If Rare, and Microsoft split the player base they need to give anyone who wants one a full refund. I bought this game specifically because of cross play. I have never used hacks, mods or trainers in any game, and don't feel that I need to be penalized for the actions of feishithe cul tona.

I don't care what you cry about. I bought this game because of cross play. This game promised cross play, and if it gets removed I will petition for a full refund! Thankfully Rare has stated they intend to do nothing to split the player base.

You don't need "proof" show there are hackers in this game.What's toxic is people whining claiming they've come up against hackers without having proof. EVERYONE has the ability to record game clips. We are all aware that hacks exist for the game. Prove that you're a victim or... it didn't happen and you're just ego hurt cause you got owned by someone better than you.
Toxic is trying to split a great community for no reason.
