New Cheat or bug?

    So we had this guy in our group that we couldn't find and he wasn't talking. We tried to message him and got no response. So we tried to lock him in the brig so he would at least port back to the boat... nothing. So he is basically sitting there raking in gold while afk all day. Here is a video I took.

    Its a bug, you can get out of the brig. You haveto jump into the bars when the waves hit the ship. Theres a video on youtube that shows you how to do it. Its being exploited right now

    Hasn't happened to me yet, but good to know. When sailing with randoms it's best to not have any gun powder on board. Too many time has the random sunk our ship with all the loot and dc'd.

    he never spawned in the brig to break out of it. The only thing I can think of is that he is on the ghost ship and not respawning on purpose because we were playing for over an hour with him not being with us.

    Hmmm yeah then i have no idea, you gotta be in the brig to use that glitch. From what im seeing alot of people are cheating on sea of thieves. Iv personally only saw 1 but yeah. Hopefully the devs will do something about it even if its just to inform us that they are aware of the issue
