Here on this thread me and me crew post tales of the sue to share our experiences with our fellow sailors of the Sea of Thieves and what fine tales they are!. Below be me humble crew of the unsinkable sue, We throw down the gauntlet to all other crews to see if they can sink the sue! After each play session on the high seas the crew of the sue return the ship to the depths as an offering to the kraken to not strike our vessel, For while the sue has never been sank by other players the crew of the sue merely "borrow" her and return her to the depths when she is done. • Yarr! 'tiss be me! First Mate Barnacle Beard! And today my fellow scallywags and tavern patrons, I will tell you the story of the skirmish of Lone Cove!

Some days past, our crew (At the time consisting of the Cabin Boy, the Bosun, the Capt'n and yours truly) set foot ashore Lone Cove. There we found mighty plunders and treasures a'plenty, including a magnificent chest that must have belonged to a capt'n, and a chest that must have just watched the Titanic (poor sod wouldn't stop crying...)

As we were about to leave, suddenly! Out of nowhere! Some dastardly devils came hard upon our rare, and gave us a taste of their broadside! A mighty battle ensued, and we were prepared to fight (and admitadly flee) to the bitter end, when suddenly!

    ...The oceans turned dark...
    ...A mighty roar was heard...
    And there it was!
    THE KRAKEN!

We have daily offered our Lord and Saviour the Kraken offerings in term of ships and booty, and returned the Sue to it's glory each eve. Our Lord most have taken a kind heart to us, for his terrible tentacles wrapped around the dastardly knaves, and offered them battle! We, at the edge of the darkness, managed to turn and reach safe harbor. To our hearts joy, we could see the dastardly knaves being pulled down in the dark deep blue behind us, by our eight armed savior!

And there yee have it me hearties, the story of the Skirmish of Lone Cove!

-As told by First Mate Barnaclebeard of The Saucy Sue.

  • Ahoy again, me hearties! 'tiss me, Barnaclebeard, trusted First Mate of that finest of vessels, The Saucy Sue.

Today, me fellow sea dogs, I shall regale you with the tale of the Battle of Crows Nest Fortress.

We were up North (The Crew at the time consisting of the Captain Lackbeard, Ship Master Roger, and Treasure Hunter Long Scott, and yours truly), fighting knaves and ferrying feather clad friends, when we noticed an Ill Omen in the sky to the south. So, we curtailed our current conquests, and set full sails to the shiny bright light in the horizon. As we grew closer to our goal, we noted that we were not alone in the waters...

A galleon was following in our backwaters, and off to the South West another Galleon was rapidly approaching. Two Sloops were already at the outpost. We decided that it was time to be good seamanitans, and proposed parley. They answered with the leading reply of lead in our rear, and our opinion of opulently sharing treasure vanished and vaporised then and there.

Battle was joined, and what a battle it was!

The cannons roared, the hulls creaked, the water splashed our various present and missing eyes, legs and hands with the salt of the sea and our foes tears. After a daring battle, we sank the Galleon that was approaching from the South West. As we approached the remaining sloop by the Fortress, the cowards opened fire at us! We rapidly despatched of them by a mixture of cannon fire from Long Scott, artillery cover from the fortress by yours truly, and our daring Captain Lackbeard himself led the boarding of the knaves vessel. As we finished this battle, and prepared to tackle the hoards of undead, we saw it...

Fresh sails on the horizon! The cunning knaves had somehow gained a new galleon, and was rapidly approaching!

The battle lasted for some time, and the Sue even had to break off once to ressupply (our stores of cannon balls was running low from the ammount of ships we had sunk; my final talley was 5 ships, though the captain claims 7) but we returned non the less! We found the fortress upon our return only manned by undead. So we rapidly despatched the skellywags and claimed the Key from the undead captain!

But alas! A galleon on the Horizon!

Every pirate should be brave enough to fight! The bravest still are brave enough to bravely run away! So we grabbed the key with hook and hand, and set full sails along the gale to the west! Our scout, Long Scott, leaped off at Thieves Haven, to scout for pursuers. The Shipmaster leaped off at Shark Bait Cove with the Key to the vault, while yours truly and the Captain took our vessel on a merry roundabout the Ancient Isles, to confound the confusion and complete the compromisation of any cowardly companions conciving to capture our booty! We set sail back to the fort (Except our brave Scout, who actually swam from Thieves Haven and back to the fort), opened the vault, and grabbed the score all to our own! Then we set sail for Ancient Spire Outpost, where the gold ran like grog, the grog was drunk like grog, and we delivered our beloved Saucy Sue back to the embrace of our Lord and Saviour, The Kraken!

  • Yahoy, scurvy bilgerats! I, First Mate Barnaclebeard, bring a new tale today for yee all to enjoy! Today, me fellow drunkards, I shall tell you the tale of The Heist of a Familiar Fort!

The Sue was sailing the seas, with a mighty fine load onboard (3 captains chests, 2 marauders chests, 8 seafarers chests, 3 castaways chests, and 1 foul skull). The, we saw the that foul Omen of beckoning treasure on the Horizon! So, we set sails towards the rising sun, covered by a cloud of death. As we arrived, it immediatly stood out from our last such adventure. There bee no skurvy knaves about! So we rapidly dispatched the Fort of it's Skeletal residents, and craked the vault open. And what a vault it was!

We rapidly looted the vault, and set sails directly onwards, onto Ancient Spire Outpost. Our entire haul consisted off 1 Stronghold Chest, 1 Stronghold Skull, 3 Captain Chests, 2 Marauders Chests, 8 Seafarers Chests, 3 Castaway Chests, 1 Villanous Skull, 2 Hatefull Skulls, 1 Disgraced Skull, 1 Foul Skull, 2 Boxes of Exquisite Spices, 1 Box of Exotic Silks, 1 Box of Rare Tea, 1 Box of Fine Sugar, 2 Golden Reliquaries, 1 Adorned Receptacle, 1 Opulent Curio.

So we sold all our fine booty, and got a decent ammount of 25, 000 dubloons! So we climbed to the crows nest, and played a fine toon as we offered our Dear Sue back to our Lord the Kraken. Then we headed to the tavern, to drink and tell the tale of our adventures!

  • Yarr! Capin Lackbeard here be with another tale of plunder and scallywags. The crew o the sue was sailing to Keel haul fort following a foul omen in the skies above, We arrived and found a war bein battled for control of the forsaken fort. Me, me treasure hunter me diplomat and the helmsmen sailed ye ship in! The crew of the sue made an alliance with the crew of a sloop and together we took the fort! However, allies we be and abandoned their sloop this crew did! for they saught to join the sue and sail on her back to a safe outpost! we saw some scallywags scuttle their ship at golden sands outpost waiting to ambush us tharrr! So we sailed right past much to their annoyance and anger! right to Daggertooth we did sail and our 2 crews shared in the booty as we where now 1, a crew of 6 and thus we stayed as a crew of 6 until the time came to return the sue to the depths to appease the mighty kraken.

Let this tale be a show to you me hearties. Those who are friendly upon the waves and not blindly aggressive take the best of rewards.
