So the other night I was playing and I got kicked out of the game for “connection issues “ I log on and saw that my character wasn’t my actual character. So once I exited the game to see if it fix it self and it didn’t now I’m stuck as a random pirate but I’m to high level to reset. Is there anyway I can revert this ?
Edit: I’ve restarted my game countless time it doesn’t work :(
Same thing happened to me. Connection issue disconnected me and a friend. Upon re-entering the servers, our characters had no clothing, no equipment, no money. Almost like everything was wiped. Pressing tab showed we had different names. Getting ourselves killed and respawning fixed the name issues, but the characters remained void of money and gear. When our pirate friends delivered items, our reputation still seems to have gone up from where it was, but we weren't seeing any money increase, rendering our characters quite useless... I hope this is fixable... Don't want to start over from having earned 25 reputation on gold hoarders, order of souls and merchants alliance and losing 140,000+ gold...
@shankmyth turned it off. Was annoying me. Ano it doesnt seem like a big deal n people got it worst off but it ruins the role play side of things man
@dazzultra i get it dude, my pirate has changed race and lost alot of features, like scars etc....
Reallly realllly annoing.
I had more issues like no inventory but dying fixed that for me.
I still cant find my pre order bonus @ any vendors either. so frustrating.
Read through a lot of posts with people who seem to have the same bug.
If you die while you have the bug with no items, you'll get the items back- but there's one caveat.
Your character customization is reset into a base model of a white male with black hair. Frankly, I hope there's a fix for this because I quite liked the character I had. Very disappointing.
@arctusai yeah I’m stock as some random old guy now. It’s really annoying i know there’s a lot of other bugs but one of there key marketing is be your own pirate but yet we can’t because it glitched
@arctusai i also submitted a bug report, i didnt know how to re create the issue though, im really hoping they have a fix for it soon. i feel like they have taken my identity :(
