A few of my friends bought the game yesterday, however, we weren't sure on how PVP or multiplayer works?
How do we encounter real life people? Are we istantly in an online sessions as soon as we press "Set Sail"??
In Sea of thieves every ship you encounter is another player / crew going about the game. Keep an eye on the horizon, you will soon see a sail :)
