Navigation upgrades and Ship handling upgrades.

    Hello, I'm new to this board. But I would like to discuss a topic where we talk about how Rare can upgrade, the handling of the ships.

    I would like to see a doubletap option, to spin the wheel very fast to the right/left to make tight turns.

    I love using the ships, and that is why I would like to hear ideas from others also.

    BTW. loving the game.

    It's tricky, you want to provide upgrades that people who have been playing for a year don't have a HUGE advantage over new players

    Doing small navigational changes like this may be a good step forward

    I think spinning the wheel at its current rate is fine. These are massive old ships, you don’t get precision handling in them. If you want to do a quick turn, do an anchor turn.

    That's what handbrake (anchor) turns are for. The handling for the ships in its current form is fine. As a sloop, I out maneuver all Galleons that come my way, as a Galleon, I can easily maneuver my vessel in such a way as to go broadside and unleash hell or face us forward to take minimal damage, all it takes is practice.
