If you don't have friends to play with don't bother with the game, so far in the beta if you load in successfully with random players which i could only do once after 2 hours of trying, they won't talk to you and they abandon you and wont help you be able to play the next mission by voting for the next mission. So unless they make it where playing alone works or you have friends dont waste money on the game seems cool but if you cant play then dont bother.

@xxarmy2260xx This could be a number of reasons, one you say they wont talk with you have you tried using the pirate text buttons. If you want to play with people with mics join a discord channel or on xbox post a looking for group which a lot people use to find mic friendly users. If they aren't voting for a mission maybe they are brand new and don't know how? I'm not sure what you mean "Unless they make it where playing alone works" I have no problem with playing solo are you getting some type of error code, or do you mean you still practice to be able to solo properly. Solo isn't for the faint of heart, you can sometimes be put in the hardest fight of your life which will push your gun, sword, shipman skills to their limits. "I recommended you find a community of players to play with you, just as simple as it was to make this post you could always make post about looking for crewmates, a lot people in this community are super friendly." @xxarmy2260xx I've only joined random crews. You might have to join a couple before you get a good one but they are out there.
@pigeonman-beam every time i try to join a solo match it takes 5 minutes of it loading then it gives me the cinnamonbeard error, i tried for 2 hours to get into a game solo and with people to no success but once, also if you have a mic and they dont then you talk through the t.v. and i told them where the vote happens, i tried talking though pirate chat and i even looked here for players to play with.
@xxarmy2260xx That could be due to the stress test atm, There are going to be issues that Rare are going to record statistics to improve before release. This error should be less common after release ;)
@xxarmy2260xx Understandable yeah servers might be messed up at the moment. Something to keep in mind most xbox players I know are in party chat. I agree it can be a struggle with no mic your best bet is to find players through xbox looking for group or find a crew section on the forums like @DrBullhammer posted.
It’s been easy to meet people in game. I had just done an encounter with a full crew galleon they shot at me and knocked me off my ship. I swam up to them holding a riddle I needed help with. They were more than happy to help, also coincidentally were headed to snake island as well. We had each other’s backs getting their treasure and solving my riddle and went on our merry ways. Had my crew pick me up and outpost bound. You just have to roll the dice. Welcome to sea of thieves.
