Black Pearl Bug

I noticed this earlier today when I was doing the "Quest for Guybrush" but when I was trying to both talk to the crew on the Black Pearl and 'rescue' Captain Coconut I will be sent below deck immediately after climbing the ladder to get aboard. This happens on both High Seas and Safer Seas. Sadly as of right now, I am unable to complete the third chapter of the Monkey Island Tall Tale. Not to sure if this is the right place to post this but this is a frustrating bug to be sure.
