Arena Battle Royale gamemode

    A new gamemode in which 10-20 ships battle to the depths in an all-sea arena, with the boundaries closing in on all sides so as to prevent ships from constantly running until boredom.

    This would be so good because as great as the adventure side of the game is, it quickly gets boring and repetitive after 2-3 quests. This new gamemode would attract a lot of new players who just want to battle at sea and would bring back returning players that got bored of the adventure gameplay. This new gamemode could even have different ships in the same arena, allowing players to choose between speed and agility with a Sloop, firepower with a Galleon, or somewhere in the middle with a Brigantine.

    This seems to be the only real way to bring in players, keep existing players, and expand the game without completely revamping the adventure mode of the game.

    Technically not possible.

    We'll get Last Ship Standing with 6 sloops in a week, if that interests you.

    Onl after 2-3 quests?
    You do know you can do more than that? Actually create ways how you go about them voyages? Do other things.

    Doing a 10-20 battle (or even last stand) will, in your words, get boring and repetitive because it's the same...repeatable thing over and over...and over again.

    But as long you treat each time you do it, some way differently. It wont have to be.

    Custom seas is coming out next season you can build whatever arena adventure you like and host it. You can even use the sea dog tavern like in the old arena days. Max is 6 ships 24 players. So you can share your server code with whoever you want after you set up the arena battles you want to host and scoreboards and enjoy it.
