Day 1 Pirate Experience

So far I've done a couple introductory quests, did some fishing, and been sunk once. Getting right back in I found a message in a bottle leading me to kill some Capt. SKELLIES (QUITE TOUGH) AND RETRIEVED 2 SKULLS.
Servers to shut down in 15 minutes it says and I have to race to turn in these skulls. Seas were very rough, Megladon circling my Sloop for a stretch, then the outpost is in sight with like 6 minutes to spare.
A second crew comes into view. Inhear them talking they are so close. Mildly panicking I smash my Sloop into the rocks near the dock. As I'm patching the hole quickly I hear them board. 3 or 4 of them. IM DOOMED!
Hey man you have 4 minutes to turn in your skulls and I'm gonna help he says. Help they did. Turned in my first 2 skulls for some gold and rep, but more importantly got to talk to a few guys about the game for a minute and get some pointers.
Good people. All happened to quick to get their names. All I know is they had to be on PS5 like myself due to my settings.
I dont know if you will come here to these forums and see this, but I just wanted to put my thanks out there. Thankyou for making my first foray into the Sea of Thieves a positive and memorable one. I shall do my best to pay it forward to others in need in the future.
