Hunter's Call gold and rep not boosted "Across the Board" for the Festival of Fishing event

I'd like to say that it's because of how the items are codified, meaning that stuff from voyages would definitely be boosted while things that could be found randomly are not, but that doesn't make sense if it's boosting regular meat (like Chicken/Pork).

I'd guess that items would just have tags or metadata that is checked when selling to see if there are any changes to it's default gold, rep and emissary values. I'm guessing that the newer HC stuff doesn't have the proper tag.

Hunter's Call Crates, Bait Crates, Breaths, Orbs, Horns, Blade of Souls, Tridents, Hunting Spears and Container Chests shouldn't get a boost IMO. This isn't strictly HC stuff or just containers and not really loot.

Kraken Eyes, Tusks, Teeth and Scales should though. Unfortunately, it'll have to wait until next week to get fixed at best. At worst, it's not going to get fixed before this event ends if they can't just change it in the backend without requiring a client update/hotfix.

Hunter's Call crates (fish scales, krakent tentacles, etc) and packs (irrisitable bait, hunting spear tips) are 100% exclusive HC loot. Those were introduced in Season 15 raids, and the April voyages.... and exclusively sell to the Hunter's call.... along with the tusks, scales, and teeth.

But, yeah. Looks like the event was intended to be boosted rep only for fishing and not an "across the board" Hunter's Call event. Just another case of inconsistent messaging across SOT's web site, in game message of the day, and social media.

@artie Yeah that makes sense. I think I was confusing the crates.

I haven't been getting any grade 5 emissary rep or bonuses for the Hunters Call recently. I assume (hopefully) it's just delayed atm.
