Sea of thieves with AMD Radeon™ 890M not working

    Okay, so i have a portable computer with an AMD ryzen 9 AI HX 370 with a AMD Radeon™ 890M GPU.

    I can play all my other games in medium settings with more that 60 FPS, but when i try to play sea of thieves, even with everything at minimum in 720p, i don't have more than 15 FPS.

    I quite surprised considering that my APU is better than the Steam deck APU (wich is also a Radeon graphic card) and SOT run well on Steam deck.

    Also, when i monitor my GPU, it's only working at 60%

    Has someone faces the same issue and found a correction?

    I have exactly the same problem. Sea of Thieves used to run okish at my old intel integrated. Now I have an HX 375 with a radeon 890M GPU, all other games run 2 or 3 times better, but Sea of Thieves runs at not even half the frames it used to.

    AMD software does not recognize the game. But I switched to DX11 and it's working fine: 60fps at a mix of rare and common settings, 1400p with 80% resolution scaling. It feels a bit like OneX performance mode, which was a good experience.

    This thread is going to get closed due to the necro rules, but I just want to add that it's good that you posted a solution. Hopefully OP sees it and anyone else who has the same problem can find it when searching.
