Nothing you can do about auto-aim cheating, fine, every fps game has the same issue, I understand, but teleporting to crow's nest or cannon is your own issue, which exists for months, and I didn't see you do anything! Everytime you just let us report, but we can't keep doing this, even your stream partners don't do it, people are losing patience, because report doesn't work well, How the hell does it work if they can get new accounts in seconds. Once a cheater told me he has a thousand accounts to sell, he steals from other players and then sells every account for 1 dollar. Only 1 dollar, they can play this game again like nothing happened. I don't know if this helps, try to get some cheating program, figure out how it attacks, and then, Fix your garbage program!!!

RARE on the other hand claimed the recent yellowbeards on SoT streamers to be a bug, when the evidence from each streamer community points towards cheaters doing it...

It's not the players job to do what Developers at RARE are getting paid to do, or should at least get paid to do. A quick google search garners multiple cheat programs for the game...The ''2024 security team'' that they mentioned in their developer vlogs should be criticized and investigated...

Tell me you don't know how anti-cheat works without telling me.
See, Anti-Cheat is made by an outside company (Easy Anticheat, GameGuard, Battleye, etc.)
Some are made in-house (I think Battleye is actually made by Ubisoft for Rainbow Six?), b ut most are licensed.And the makers of the anti-cheat don't have the money or manpower to can the web 24/7 for every webpage that sells cheats. Not to mention that at least half are probably lying and looking to sell gullible people a trojan or keylogger.
So what do game developers do?
They ask the players to report cheaters. Because a popular game will have 100x more players than developers. Which means 100x more eyes to catch cheaters.We report the cheaters, Rare is alerted.
Rare look into how they are bypassing the anti-cheat.
Rare update the anti-cheat (Or send their info to the company they bought a license from. I'm not sure which).
Expecting Rare to spend manpower and hours combing the web because you don't want to be bothered to report cheaters is not only entitled, it's unrealistic.
And to add to that; When cheaters are caught, and the cheat program is banned...Guess what the makers do?
They just update the program to find a new way in. No game. No anti-cheat. No program is 100% uncrackable.
So don't ever think cheaters will go away.The best way to fight them is to report them.
