In regards to Solo Hourglass..
Its become common practice to simply board your opponent, spawn kill them and sail them out of bounds for the win.
My personal opinion of this is that its sad they must do this to win.. or to win quickly. It negates all navel combat, which is amazing in this game.
If you must do this to win.. atleast give me some navel fore play prior to beginning boarding attempts..
Maybe Do some damage and protect the damage for the sink.. instead of sailing your opponent out of the play area.
Sailing an opponent out of bounds should give far less Reputation than a legit sink.
More Rep for a more honorable, rewarding victory.. That honors the games core mechanic.. Sailing & Navel combat.
Sinking an opponent by overwhelming them with damage is a rewarding win..
I know i will get hate for this but.. Sailing an opponent out of the play area is just.. cheap. I refuse to do it.
And like myself.. im sure others avoid HG due to this tactic..
People would do this less if they got less Rep
Board me, light me a flame, And sink me that way! Sailing out of bounds is shouldnt be a win.. You won because you got your opponent disqualified.. smh
