Rare does a great job allowing us to customize our ships to be unique, but does anyone know if they ever intend to expand the customization further? I have some items/ship parts that I would love to see them make changeable some day.
- Lanterns: I feel like having customizable lantern sets on the ship would be amazing and they could be very subtle, but it would still add some pizzazz to them. This would include the hanging single lanterns and the three deck lanterns that you find on every ship.
- Deck colors: I know that some decking changes colors with the specific ships hulls, but I wonder if it would be possible to change the decking color regardless of the hull cosmetic? I've always wanted to be able to add color to the decking and give my ships different vibes. Like, inside a galleon especially with all that decking, it would be cool to have different colors on people's ships.
- Map Table and book shelf: I feel like these are easy to change, considering we can already change beds, quest tables, captains chairs, and more. It just seems weird that we can change all of that stuff but the map table and the bookshelf besides it are still stock.
