Friends, i propose a new throwable item, the water bomb.
What would this do you ask? Throw water obviously.
Why would you throw this? Many reasons:
- Throw water to put out fires on your ship
- Throw water to help sink other ships
- Throw water onto golden skeletons to rust them.
At this point you're probably screaming this is stupid, just use a firebomb or throw water buckets instead and you are correct, however there are situations where you have no water nearby for buckets and situations where you don't want to firebomb because there are kegs nearby, so here comes the big reason for water bombs:
Water bombs would dampen gunpowder, lit keg? Fuse extinguished, needs to dry for a bit before can explode again, could perhaps even shoot it while it's wet from the bomb to destroy it and make it useless.
Guns use gunpowder, throw a water bomb at an enemy player who has their gun out will dampen the gunpowder of that equipped gun, making the shot not fire, forcing a reload before its useable again.
But gunpowder doesn't get damp when in sea water you say? Well, that's true and it's fine but stuffing your face with food while you are drowning doesn't make sense either so lets suspend belief a little here and accept that it would be a component to the bomb exclusively.
One little water bomb with some nice utility and shaking up the pvp meta loadouts.
