As SOT has just arrived on PS5, I would like to know if it is now possible to play the games on PC but with a PS5 controller, by connecting it just like it is possible to play with an XBOX controller?

Yeah, DualSense works fine on PC for Sea of Thieves. I run [mod removed] before launching the game - it maps the controller as an Xbox pad, pretty basic thing, so Windows and the game both see it as generic input. Sticks, triggers, and haptics through the adapter all work, at least for me XDDDD. Only downside: button prompts stay as ABXY instead of the PS5 icons, since the game reads it as an Xbox controller under the hood. Still beats not being able to use the controller at all (at lesast for me ^^)
