Stuck on login Steam Deck

Same issue here it started 2 days ago and I really need to get back on to keep up with the Emmessary community monthly faction race.

I confirm the problem. There is no way to enter credentials xbox on steam deck. Waiting update...

I'm having the same issue, but I think it's a Steam / SteamDeck issue related to the latest update, not a Sea of thieves error. I say this because my backup plan was to play Grounded. However, Grounded also uses an Xbox account and is having the same issue of no communication with the XBox network.

Wherever the break is, I want it fixed. I am feeling like I'm losing out on loot over here.

We could make something positive out of this and get some steamdeck crews going if anybody is up for it.

I just hope its fixed before the 8th. I wanted to get a pet before the sale ends 🥺

@dark-star2947 fair i didnt have any issue at all till the patch at 4:39pm was my only reasoning.

Hopefully there will be an update today with a fix for this problem, or at least give a date when it will be fixed

I was thinking the same thing, what's your Microsoft name or gamertag? Mine is Slimmmmcity.

Can confirm I’m having the same issues on my Steamdeck. Hoping they can resolve this soon. It was fine before that last update!

I bought the game on Steam and didn't get to play before the update broke it on Steam Deck/Linux =(

I'm having the same issue on my Linux desktop. Weirdly, I was able to play for several hours on the new season before it broke - not sure if the game was auto-patched at some point.

A bit annoying, but it seems like it broke over the weekend and right after the start of the new season, so I can hardly fault Rare for not patching it immediately :p

It's still not working unfortunately, I can only play on Deck so until it fats fixed I will not be able to play with anyone.
But it will be fun when it's fixed to play with the people in this thread.

Still not working steam deck is also my only way to play I really hope it gets fixed.

Fingers crossed that while the servers are down they fix the bug.

ayyyyyyy we're back! So excited to play again. It's been a couple of years.

Still getting this error on Steam Deck and have been for months. Nothing has fixed it. Have not been able to play the game once. Feel like I've been scammed.

I'm not on Steam Deck, but I am also having this exact issue.
