My husband is trying to play on the xbox one, the version that is installed is 2.127. When he loads up he gets that lavenderbeard error. We have uninstalled the game, hard reset the device and reinstalled it and he still get's that error. Is the version 2.127 the most up to date version? Is it not updating for us? We have tried searching for an update and it says it is up to date but he keeps getting that lovely error.
He does not own the game and is trying to play the gamepass version, would that be the issue?
He is playing on the xbox one, could that be an issue?
Can he ignore the issue and still play the game with his friends online who are not getting that error?
