Xbox Game Sharing Lavenderbeard

    My wife and I play SoT. I have her Xbox set as our home Xbox so she gets all my benefits while I log into my console and pay all the subs etc. However sometimes she likes playing on my console because it's the better console but the last week or so she has been unable to log in and play due to getting Lavenderbeard after pressing start at the title screen. I bought the game for her thinking that would solve the issue but no dice. She made sure my account was signed out but of course that means she can't play online because my game pass isn't signed in...

    This is a recent issue and it's really not helpful because sometimes she asks me to log in an play on her account during events because she's busy at work, she got basically no progress over community weekend because of this...

    TLDR Game share on Xbox keeps giving errors and my wife is missing out on progress...

    Yes, this is a bug Rare added to the game with the S11 release. We can no longer play SOT on Xbox with more than 1 account signed in. Even if you hit the "Switch Profile" button on the set sail screen it also cherrybeards followed by the lavenderbeard trying to log back in.

    The only option for you, unless Rare decides to fix it is to make sure the account that has the entitlement to SOT and Xbox Live is the "Home" console your wife's account wants to play on. The "home" account does NOT need to be signed on for the other accounts to pick up the entitlements.

    I've reported the bug twice.. but support seems entirely uninterested in passing the info about the bug to the dev team and insisting the player is doing something wrong. Now that this game is going Playstation.. the xbox issues are getting sidelined. The game has never been in a worse technical state than it has ever been.

    My issue is I also stream my console from the living room to my desktop in the office. So logging off the primary profile kills the remote session too.

    Also having this issue. Defo worst state game has ever been in.

    Day 1 player. They will tell you porting this to ps5 has no effect on the game. Yeah sure.

    My friend can sign in to his account on my console and play SoT. He signs out I sign in. I get lavenderbeard. I do all the steps re install profile and game restart it all and still get it. Bought ultimate so I could play and now nothing lol I have a lot of time into it and it seems lost now.

    1 out of 5 stars until fixed.
