I wanted to mention that cheaters issue is still running specially in the hourglass PvP mode, I got a guy banned a few days ago for cheating and being toxic by reporting him but now in my recent incident I was being shot at from miles away and every single cannon ball/chain shots/firebombs landed on me and my ship no matter what, that I did not even have the time to react and try to move closer and see their names and they never answered my chat at the very end so they know they have to keep their distance to hide their names and there's no other way to know it, also right after my ship sunk I was shot at from the sky by an invisible thing from a sniper then blunderbuss and I even recorded it and re-watched it, my question is when will these cheaters fear using cheats and stop ruining other's experiences since I've seen other threads that has been there for a year or more about cheaters, so please something has to be done about it since PvP is so essential in this game not just HG, people can lose work of hours from a cheater in a few minutes at max and the best they can do about it is finding a guy's name to report, it's going out of hand to have a normal and decent experience for a whole day atleast if we aim to use HG and PvP a lot (to clarify it, I'm not saying cheaters are moving everywhere on the map but meeting them frequently in HG is frustrating)

Overall, never. Because they have a fear themselves by feeling inferior and this makes them feel powerful. Winners.
Did you just tell me not to use hourglass PvP mode ? lol it's more like you're telling me not to play the game because some cheaters are in the game, with my respect you have no right to tell me what to play and what to not play I'm here to press an issue I've faced myself hoping for a solution, I paid for this game and I have the right to enjoy every small part of it, what you said makes no sense overall so I hope someone with a reasonable reply would answer this thread, and btw (I said I recorded it and I'm ready to share it if there's a way to show I was shot by invisible air) :)
Rare are constantly working on anti-cheat.
But that is also true of the people who make the cheats/hacks. At least we're not seeing people flying around dropping kegs any more.
