Pretty self explanatory here, but I think we should be able to add keys to our pockets. We can carry 10 cannonballs, wooden planks, and pineapples in our pockets, but we can’t carry a 20 cm key? Obviously you shouldn’t be able to carry like 10 keys (or maybe you could) but other pirates should be able to see them visible on you (maybe like attached to like the belt area or something). Just my opinion.
Storing Keys in your Pocket

What if when you die, they just drop. Or other pirates could pick pocket you for them.I don't see a reason to complicate things. It'll be much tougher to pick pocket someone rather than kill them, and if you get spotted or can't get close to that person the key is irretrievable.
Instead of your pocket, which we think of as our inventory, it could be made a quest item and added to the radial. Then it would be accessible by all crewmates regardless of if the original person left. It also wouldn’t get lost if you were solo and disconnected but were able to reconnect.
We’ve seen they can do this in the adventures. Multiple adventures saw consumables placed in our quest radial to be used or turned in instead of being a world object.
Though I realize this probably would not be viable as the keys can be stolen by other crews and then how might you retrieve it? Them dropping a quest item upon sinking would be a whole new mechanic and not worth it, I would think.
I do wish we could walk faster holding a key though.
