Since we will soon have zero control over who we match with, it is only fair to have the flags give rep for whatever side you are representing on the hour glass. If I am representing Reapers and I end up getting 5-6 Reaper matches those flags should contribute similar to selling Athena flags. For lore purposes, we are skirmishing each other and the allegiance gain is showing we are the better ship within our own faction.
The balance would be it only counts as long as your hourglass is active.
The only argument against this is that it could increase same faction attacking, but Rare already doesn't care if people cheese with opposing ships alliancing to sink boats invading. So just let allegiance occur if I sink someone with their hour glass active and let me sell their flag.
