A bit of a wild one but hear me out.
Going by all the community shares and hiw everyone loves photography and video editing.
How about a Film crew company. Sign up as an emy and have a boom camera pop up atop of the mast. replace the spyglass with a video camera and have lots of achievements in capturing images which we are all familiar with in other games.
people can have fun simply trying to create battle scenes etc with one crew doing the filming promoting teamwork.
can either go for a themed look or make it blatantly out of place and modern to compliment the pirates of the Caribbean theme... add in an extra tall tale where you're behind the scenes.
Alternatively how about an in game "what just happened" scene capture like the old driver game giving a free cam option for overhead shots.
